Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The five (daily) prayers, Friday prayer to the next Friday prayer, and Ramadan to the next Ramadan are expiation of the sins committed between them, so long as major sins are avoided." [Sahih Muslim - 233]

If something befalls you, do not say: 'Had I done such-and-such, it would have been such-and-such;' rather, say: 'Allah has decreed, and whatever He wills, He does.'
